Logo Design Project 2018
We were reached out to by a previous client of ours to design a logo for their podiatry business. The client entered an existing practice that already had an established brand & logo, but they were technically functioning as a separate business under one office so they needed their own logo. Our client was looking for something a bit less dated than their parent business, but still similar enough to know that they’re related.
When discussing the details of the project, the client mentioned that they wanted something that was clean, simple, and a bit abstract. Basically something more modern. They needed a logo that they could make an outline sticker out of and place on a black Mercedes Sprinter van, signs, letterheads, websites, business cards, and pretty much any other type of business paraphernalia they may need.

Sans Serif fonts are great for modern designs. Their simplicity makes them ideal for instilling trust and giving off a sense of sophistication. In addition to that, they're easy to read on all surfaces and in most sizes; making them versatile for placement on many different types of business paraphernalia.

For the icon, we had to keep it similar to the design of the partner logo while still giving it its own identity. Since the parent business’s logo was a bit outdated, we gave this one a more modernized appearance by making the design flatter and giving it more of an abstract appearance through the use of smoother curves and a gap on the left side of the foot.
